well there is little information that i have found on these stars in aquariums although i did see a couple of pics of them in tank so its definitely doable, legal on the the other hand, i dont know. but i will continue searching for information. one thing that would really help me find more info would be a common name for this animal, which the few sites that i looked at so far did not display. anyways here are some pics of this really cool animal.

That's crazy cool! I love it! I'm setting up a tide pool style tank to house some of my favorite anemones, and I would love him - if you ever wanna trade for coral, let me know
no i dont have one, just stumbled upon this while reading. but from my research they are very common stars in the gulf. now im wondering why we dont see them in the stores. there are people with them in their tanks, and they are reef safe. from what i have read they are like a small version of a tile star. they are very cool, hopefully some one can hekp me get my hand on this for one of my tanks.
