Default Brain prob (coral type, not head)

New closed brain or pineapple and noticed the centers of many of the disks have puffy, meaty looking centers. Didn't think this was the feeding tentacles, but am I mistaken - is this a prob?
    Thanks
    Ted

The white things in the center of some of the polyps look to be messenteries.A coral can extrude its messenteries in response to food or stress so there's no telling why yours is doing it.They can also extrude them in a longer "tentacle" type structure called messeneterial filaments. These can be used in a form of aggresion/defense.
Anyways, nice coral. It appears to be a Favia sp.
