    Default Tyree blue chalice-

Is it common for this chalice to have such long feeder tenticles?? My tiny 1/2 dollar peice has tenticles upwards of 5" long!!

And not just this peice itself, but what about other types of chalice?? Cant say I have seen tenticles on my hollywood stunner yet...

I've seen my green chalice throw out it's tentacles at least 4-5 inches too. I saw it just last night when I flipped the lights on. I was pretty surprised.

5" dang thats long. I don't have many any more, but it sure is amazing to see how long the sweepers can be on such a small coral. Did you try feeding that beast? Mine love pellets of all things!

Our hollywood produces sweepers. Prob 1-2 inches at times. The first time I saw them I thought "dang!". Haven't seen it on other chalices ---yet!

And yes, they can sting with their sweepers.
