cyclopeeze and marine snow is good I used to dice up shiners and feed my acans... its amazing how much they will eat!!!! I have pics somewhere of my aussie acans with pieces of shiner being eaten.
this changes each time I make it but its actually very very simple.
I will make a couple different batches one maily for corals like acans, chalic, palys and other corals with healthier appetites and make a general batch for fish.
the one I do for corals like I said will change time to time depending if the supermarket has a good deal of seafood. but usually these are the items for my CORAL batch:
cyclopeeze
fresh hatched brine shrimp
crab legs WITH the shell
smelt or other NON oily fish
squid
prawns with shell
blend the **** out of it till its a consisency of mud. pour into small trays and freeze.
and for my fish its pretty much the same stuff but I add some greens...
nori
broccoli
zuchinni
orange peels
some people will also use unflavored geletin to put in for consistency but I have never done that...
pretty easy to do
I have been doing this for YEARS and works great and then I keep some pellets around too just to throw in every now and then
