Default SE Wisconsin people - Group buy on pods

Hey everyone. I'm going to order some pods online within the next day or two. If anyone is interested in going in on a larger order to save shipping in the SE Wisconsin area, PM me. I'm really not interested in shipping them back out, so you'd have to swing over and grab them, or we could maybe meet somewhere.

    Eric,
Where in SE WI are you?

I'm just west of Oconomowoc. Pretty much directly in between Madison and Milwaukee about 5 miles north of 94.

The bottles are $25 each plus shipping. If we get 6 or more bottles ordered, it's free shipping from what I understand. If we were going to do this and we had enough people, I'd probably ask for $26 per bottle to cover my paypal fees if people were to pay me via paypal. If it's less than 6 bottles, we'd just split shipping. I think shipping for up to 6 bottles was like $20 fed ex 2 day.

They're the little bug looking things that crawl all over your tank. You can see them at night real well if you shine a flashlight into the tank after lights out. Certain fish like Mandarins depend on them for food and will usually die if there isn't enough to eat.

Thanks for the info. I'll order with you. I have a 55 gal reef well established.

Sounds like a plan. I'll let you know this weekend or early next week what the status is.

That's great that you're going to order too Erik (ewaitob), because we're going to jump in on the order to. So, between the two of us we can decide who's driving to perpetual98's to pick up the order. Unless of course Eric (perpetual9 has great things planned for us when we come to pick up the pods? We can go check out all the LFS's his way.

When exactly are you placeing the order Eric? About how many pods are in each vial? This is the first time I've ever even thought to buy pods, but I want to be sure we have plenty for the seahorses when we get them.

    Here's what Adelaide told me:

Hi Eric - There are about 1,000 pods, a combination of 3 species that
have life stages from nauplii to adult that range in size from 50
    microns to 2 mm,

Depending on how many people order, I might get 2 bottles to help us meet the free shipping minimum.

I'll probably be placing the order on Monday or Tuesday of next week so that they get to us by the weekend.

Looks like I need a couple more people to get in so we can get the free shipping. I need to have the order placed by 7:00AM PST on Wednesday for shipping this week.
