    Default Movin Up !!!

I moved the 4 - 5 month old juvies to a bigger tank. Since they are eating 100% frozen mysis, the water quality was VERY hard to maintain in the eclipse 3 tank they were in. All 4 are now in a 20g high tank. This will be their home untill they outgrow it.....probably a long time, lol.

Here are some pics, a little cloudy since I was messing around in there to get it ready for them. This is the tank that originally held my Draco Marine ponies. They have been out of it for a few weeks, but I kept it runnng for the Juvies. I did a 20-25% water change before adding the juvies. They are happily swimming around. I did add a sponge cover to the filter, they are not used to such a strong intake.

I will be changing the background as soon as I find one I like. Since they are all black, I had to add some white sand. I couldn't see them against the black sand I had in there and the dark background. I'll probably choose an orange, yellow, or red background. Their parents were yellow, so I'm thinking they may eventually change colors.

At lights out tonight I noticed 2 of them are turning red / rust color. There are 2 red / pink plants in there so that's what I was wishing for. I will post the color change pics whn I get some decent ones.
