    Default Wrasse Nutrition

As a man who loves a good wrasse, and as I learn more and more about the various wrasse we keep, proper husbandry and habitat I have become curious.

And in an effort to provide the best habitat possible for my fish I become a bit curious to what other keepers use to feed their fish and to provide a varied diet with proper nutrition?

I have found that my wrasse love a very mixed diet. In particular they go crazy for the New Life Spectrum Pellets Thera +A. Which is a Non-Medicated Anti-Parasitic formula.

What, when and how often do you feed your wrasse?

i feed my wrasses a wide variety of foods and find that a good diet will help some in keeping thier colors nice and vibrant..but that is true for alot of fish. All my fairys eat a ton of nori for some reason and would beat the tangs to it..i also feed pe mysis, mixed frozen, spectrum pellets and cyclopeeze

Yeah I feed mine a huge variety of foods, as goes for all my fish. These include, PE mysis, Hikari mysis, Bloodworms (real good for fish), Rods food, NLS pellets, instant ocean gel pellets, reef paradise food and much much more. Of course in moderation as I wouldnt want to foul my water quality

In my opinion, and its not worth much, if a fish will eat NLS Thera +A pellets they will live and be fat and happy. I have evolved to the point where its about 95% of the total food put into the the tank. I almost never feed frozen to
the tank. Even my tangs dont get nori or caluerpa more than two or three times a year. Big fat and happy, same with pygmy angels. I am currently wrasse free, sucks too, never had one die due to eating though, its carpet surfing that has claimed mine.

@chort, yep. Thats why I said "if they will eat it". Good luck getting a Mandarin or copperband to eat thera +A. It really depends on the fish. But if they will eat it, there is no better way to keep a fish healthy, food wise.

yeah the RP food literally has everything any other foods have plus some, its really rich so you have to be careful not to feed too much
