I recently added a blue spotted jaw fish(two weeks ago), and it is doing great! made two burrows right up front. Also eating from my turkey baster! Comes right up to it and eats from it. Yesterday afternoon for some reason "she" was out up against the glass so I turned the lights off thinking something caused her to stress and come out of her home. Later that night I noticed she found a spot under some rock but it is very! uncomfortabley close to my long tip anemone and to paired maroon clowns(at least for me) There is a lot of rock work above and she seems to be staying out of the way of the trio, but it is very hard to spot feed if not impossible. Should I do anything? Move some rocks? try to get the her to move or just keep doing what I'm doing and get some food as close as possible? Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I love the fish and she was doing awesome eating and interacting with everyone in the tank when she was front and center.
Well she moved back to the original spot last night and was looking good when I went to bed. Woke up this morning and she was being eaten by crabs and snails. . She was a live aquaria purchase, first time trying them and they are standing by there 14 day guarantee. Still sad was really excited for this fish. On another note the finger dragnet is doing great!
