    Default Clownfish diet

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I apologize but I have a very basic question. What is the best feeding regimen for my clownfish. I currently feed flake in the morning and frozen brine at night. But I keeping hearing and reading that brine has almost no nutritional value. Now I am confused if brine should even be in there diet at all, and if not what else should I use. I tryed krill but I cant get it small enough for them to even look at it. Thank you again for your help!#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

I would not feed twice a day to start off with, once a day should be fine, I feed a mix of flake, brine, mysis I have been doing this for years and my clowns are fat and happy.

Right now we feed ours twice a day. Mysis in the morning and flake in the evening. They seem to be happy and always act as if they are starving, although they are opportunistic feeders. I am considering cutting back to one feeding a day.Hope this is helpful, being new to the hobby I'm sure the people here will correct me if I mislead you.

My clowns are absolute pigs, I feed them once a day. Usually mysis shrimp or flakes.

I feed my pair of false percs 2-3 times a day but a VERY small bit at each feeding (only as much as they can eat in about 30seconds-1min).......

90% freeze dried brine shrimp/10% (once a week) they get some live stuff (LFS has "reef stew".....copopods, amplapods, sea monkeys, etc....).....
