    Default Flame Angel....Friend or Foe??

Ok, so i have been reading alot about flame angels. It would appear that the opinion are just about evenly split. I would like a flame angel but am weary due to the conflicting "professional advice".

-One side says Flame Angels are a great addition to any reef tank, and are peaceful as long as they are the sole dwarf angel inhabitant.
-The flip side suggests that angels are polyp nippers and will wreak havoc in a reef tank. Some even stretch as far as to say they are not friendly with inverts.

So i put it to you. Send me some experience..... what is everyones take on the issue

ooooooo oooooooo what a great time to add a pole.....heh heh

If it's anything like my Auirga Angel, she loves to eat Dakar's Sun Polyp's and she will literally clean an area off of zo rock...especially if they are the little tender ones. She like my one coral from the zenia family too. You have to have Butterfly food for it always. It seems like they are hungry constantly!

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I have had one for a year and it has not been a problem. I did have a brown maxima clam that looked as if something might have nipped the mantle. But after a few weeks the mantle looked fine.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

I have had flame angels in the past with no problems, I would say they are as much a gamble as a lot of other fish. that was a pretty good article,
