This hobby isnt really about making money tbh, and if thats what they see a fish as then they arent really "hobbyists" they just have a bunch of tiny tanks to stuff a pair of fish in and give em a crap life in order to make a few bucks

So you would object to even commercial operations such as SA or ORA acquiring these fish in order to spread them across a wider market?

Our hobby wouldn't be where it is today without the advent of captive culturing and rearing.

The hobby today consists of some pretty poor practices. and SA and ORA arent hobbyists. They are in the business solely for making money.
