2 angels?

    Default 2 angels?

I have a weakness for 2 different kinds of angelfishes. Ive had both in my tank at different times, never together. They both were dispatched before their time from a bad ro0m-mate and a mysterious illness.

Anyways, I would really really like to have both of these in my tank, at the same time. A lot ive read says its impossible, but some suggest adding them together, re-arranging the rocks, etc.

Does anyone have any experience in keeping 2 angelfish in same tank or can point me in a direction?

    Thanks

    yea what she said!! lol
Lots of people will tell you not to keep 2 of anything that have simular body shapes.. unless they are schooling fish that aren't happy with out buddies.(anthias ect).. That said if you have a big enough tank so they can scope out homes... I have a 125.. I have 2 centropegy angels... therfore I'm breaking the rule... I have a Coral Beauty and a Singapore together. BUT I must point out that the CB has killed a Lemonpeal and another Singapore (in a 55) We took the risk and tried again.. now after much posturing and 1 week of chases they don't even care about each other!. They have been together for about 6-7 years now. But I wouldn't think of putting another..

    Flame ok Koran... NOOO why?
    1. not reef safe
    2. BIG FISH!(koran, french, blue girdled, queen, ect all huge)
    3. your tank is really to small (unless you get rid of all of your other critters)
    4. you like your corals

stick with the dwarf angels if you must have one
and when you do find a flame you like MAKE sure you see him eat! some just won't eat! I had one that just wouldn't eat. my mistake not insisting I see him eat! They actually told me they "were not allowed to feed fish for customers"??!! my fault I should have said well then I don't buy from you!
    good luck

Unless you plan on upgrading in the next year or two, a Koran will outgrow your tank and as stated above you will have to sacrifice certain kinds of corals. They are a gorgeous fish when full grown and in my opinion are worth some sacrifice. I've had dwarf and large angels together without problems, but that was in a 125L and 210 tank.
