Default Melefix in a reef tank?

Looks as if Scooter has Fin Rot. I was going to try an QT her but if she doesn't come to the front of the tank I wont be able to.
It says Melafix is reef safe. Has anyone ever used it on their reefs?

I personally wouldn't risk the reef by using chemicals to save one fish. I have used melafix to dip corals before but not in the reef itself.

Thanks Jim. Well Scooter came out this morning and I was able to net her. Actually she was in her jar Easy pezy! She is now in a 5g bucket with heater and I added the first of a 5 day treatment, of Maracyn 2. Headed to the LFS to pick up a small sponge filter. Wish Scooter & me luck!!
