    Default New Ponies

I will be receiving my 4 new seahorses from Seahorsesource next Thursday. I've been waiting for a few years to get them, lol. Either they were sold out (their stock and reputation is the best and they sell out quick...even have waiting lists) or I didn't have $400.00 to buy them. They are going to be tiny!!! Only 16-17 weeks old. I will have them in the QT tank for 6-8 weeks before they go into the 85g XXH tank. That should give them some time to grow and get trained to a feeding station. The QT tank is a 15g XH designer tank 13x13x26. It will be perfect for a QT tank.

By the time they get out of QT all of the macros and other goodies should be well established in their display tank. I will post pics when they arrive.

Seahorsesource is the BEST seahorse aquaculture facility for CB seahorses. Wooo Hooo Finally I get the Holy grail of seahorses. Almost better then winning the lottery!

Oh how I love them. I have a tank that I had intended on doing a few fish and SPS corals, but decided I'm going to do a pair of seahorses. Probably both females since I'm in no rush for there to be breeding going on. I'm going to be ordering from the website you posted. I heard about it on another forum. They are incredible additions.

Well I got a suprise. My babies had babies, lol. They have only been in QT for a month with another month to go. They are about 4.5 months old so I wasn't expecting fry yet......One of the males had 5 fry. Neither of the males looked preggo, but one was. Thank goodness he only had 5. He"s no bigger than my thumb, lol. That would mean they courted and did the egg transfer 2 weeks afer I got them. (at 4 months old no less).
I swear seahorsesource adds viagra to their water, lol. I've NEVER had a 4.5 month old give birth to fry before....... Crazy seahorses.
