Default psuedo chromis eye got bitten...

Imediately upon introducing the psuedo chromis to the tank, my niger trigger grabbed hold of its face, leading to an eye injury. Fish eye is now puffed out a bit and has a white sheen to it.

Is there anything I can/should do? Will this type of injury heal?

I would move the fish back to the QT and run carbon alternated with some type of anti biotic.
Does water always taste like salt and poo????

    Update-

Soon after the initial post, my fish completely lost its eye....

Still alive though and adapting very well to living, swimming and eating with the disability! Avoids the trigger at all times. the royal gramma (not psuedo chromis, like I initially thought) has his own area of the tank where the trigger lets him be.

Poor guy has been through alot in the 8 years he has spent in a reef tank! I got him from a freind who baught him 8 years ago. Biggest royal gramma I've ever seen! Tough old guy.

Probably why the trigger didn't finish him off, too tough and stringy to eat, not like those young fish all juicy and tender...LOL
