    Default scooter dragonet

I had a scooter dragonet (synchiropus ocellatus) for about 2 yrs. now. Yesterday he seemed a little sluggish, but there were no white spots, or anything abnormal other than the lack of activity. This morning he was dead. Does anyone know the normal lifespan of these fish? I have been battling cyanobacteria for two weeks now,but everthing else is OK. Thanks for your help.

Is it possible that he/she ate up it's food supply. Scooters are as good as Mandarins at clearing out pod populations.

I don't think so as he would eat frozen mysis and brine shrimp, also there is 200 lbs. of live rock and he was the only dragonet in the tank, but maybe it is a possibility.

I did add an extra powerhead about a week ago. Nitrate is a little high about 5ppm. Every thing else seems ok. Nitrite 0 amm.0 phosphates 0, calcium 430-440.
