I've been looking on-line at pics of The Scooter Dragonet. Guess I'm trying to figure out whether Scooters a male or female. I've noticed many pictures where this fish can have a very prominent dorsal fine. I mean it looks like this big ole flag. But not all of them have it. It also looks as if the color of this fish may have something to do with the size of the dorsal also.
Anyone know anything about this fish?
for the most part their color can change when threatened, the red on my scooter will turn grey if i accidently sneak up on him when working in the tank.
