    Joe... don't get your hopes up to high.. I've never had baby fish! Maybe if they were in their own tank.. I think I read somewhere that they have a really long (for a fish) planktonic stage. And because of all the pumps ect they get kinda ground up (yeee-uck) Anyway if they are viable (or not) it's FREE FOOD for the tank! lol

    Default Damsel mating

    They might make a habit of it. I have a pair of blue yellow tail damsels that mate every week or 10 days. The male will guard the eggs is fun to watch. Great video thanks for putting it on.

    Thanks.. they have been doing almost every 2 -3 weeks for about 4-5 years now!! Actually this is the first time I saw them laying.. usually we see them dancing courtship dances and wake up the next day to eggs. Then he guards them for about 3-4 days and then they are just gone.. I haven't been able to tell if the hatch or if they get eaten in the night. But it is funny to watch him go after the snails and his reflection!
