I've seen a child's fishing pole and a really small unbarbed hook used on this very forum, but that should be a last resort. Any chance of shutting off the flow and netting him??
Does water always taste like salt and poo????
It's such a tight fit that I think my only hope is to pull the drain pipe out and drain the overflow. Either he'll swimm out into the fug or he'll lay flat. Then I may be able to net him???

It's crazy, this morning it's like he is calling out for help. All the other wrasse in the tank are swarming the box and kinda pecking it and stairing at it trying to figure a way to help him out!

Okay, Im very happy that I decided to not permanetly glue my durso together. I pulled it apart and drained the overflow and was able to net the fish.
How ever I think he has been injured in the process. Either his air bladder has been damaged or his spin.
He is breathing extremely heavily, and is sinking not swimming. Laying upside down air escapes from the gills and mouth. He flaps his side fins to right himself but quickly flips again. Eyes and gills are moving like crazy as well as side fins. But no movement for dorsal or main.
Heres a few pics from the hospital tank.
What should I do you guys? Im hoping it is just shock from no light and what not for two days????

I hate to say it, but if there is no change by morning, I'd give him the clove oil or vodka treatment.
