Wow...did you make one? That's a great idea. Have you had to use it? It's taller than my wife

Maybe a smaller diameter PVC end cap, drilled with many holes?

Also, I'm not sure if decompression would work for overinflated swim bladders. That's the real problem with fry.

David....I have to thank you again for posting more information about mating rituals, and the filling of one's pouch to show off his ability to carry the fry is really quite phenomenal. When my Snickett started doing that the other day, I really was worried something was wrong with him. First I thought he had a load of fry waiting to pop. Next thing I knew, I looked into the tank, he was deflated, but not fry to be seen. OK....I accepted that to some irrational reason or another! lol Snickett is always the male that gets preggers in my tank. The other two attempt a lot, but never succeed. I don't mind as I'm not interested in getting to occupied in raising and selling. I should give it a good go sometime since I do have Kelloggii's. They are very hard to find for sale as a captive bred seahorse! I need one more female to replace the only seahorse I have ever lost since I start with my little friends.

Like you, I have not had to medicate at all. I tried some medication on the only seahorse that I lost due to the aiptasia that latched on to his tail overnight. Nasty stuff that aiptasia, but I haven't had any problems since. In fact, I find that my pony tank is the easiest of all the tanks we have running here and there in the house. Thank goodness for that!
They live quite happily as long as I give them their mysis shrimp twice a day, but in limited amounts so as not to pollute the tank. I still am in desperate need of more macros! If anyone is selling any, please let me know. if you know someone that is selling them...please have them contact me!

Angie...I'm not sure if you sold me any of that medication or not. I really don't know off hand where I stashed some of the other stuff I bought from you. I can thank all 5 of my ponies for being so good, healthy, and they play well with others! *giggle* If the medication is almost expired though, I don't think I need it since they are doing very nicely. Thank you so much for offering. You'll find that healthy seahorses are so much easier to care for Girl! Hey....we need to get together soon. I have a MOTM prize to deliver to you. Fill me in on your schedule, and I will do my best to get it to you before Christmas. If you'd prefer, I could just stick it in the mail, but I thought it would be a good time to chat and have a cup of coffee with a CR friend!! :D Call me, or I'll give you a jingle between breathing!

Don't forget everyone! This is the season to be focused on the beauty and the spirit of Christmas. We all have a New Year to look forward to, so if you need your time to wrap things up for the big day, don't be afraid to step back and TAKE CARE OF YOUR NEEDS FIRST! The site will still be here after the holidays, and we can get right back to reefing as usual!
God Bless you all, and remember the true meaning of Christmas. For those of you who think it means...Peace, Love, Money & Gifts, Gifts, Gifts...need to stop and think about the beauty of the true meaning of Christmas.

Love to all during the Holidays!
