Thinking about Sea horses!?!?

Hi SH gurus,

I have been doing some light reading on sea horses. I am concernng setting up a sea horse tank at my office next spring/summer. Couple quick questions:

1. What books would you recommend I pick up.

2. Do most people run a sump/fuge on their pony tanks. Seems like you could go skimmerless with all of the macro in the tanks.

No Guru here, so I'll let someone else answer this, Angel and I have been winging it from info gleaned from all over the net and from other peoples brains.

Skimmerless wouldn't be a great choice, low flow HIGH nutrient environment. Angel has a pair of those Prizm skimmers and a HOB pad filter running in her 45g. That seems to be just about right, no sump/refuge at the moment... But that's only as the pentagon tank/stand design won't allow for larger than a 10g tank in the stand.

H. Kelogii (think that's spelled right) Think we are coming up on 2 years now... no major incidents (though we did lose one But still have 3 males and 2 females) They are just the happiest little critters cruising around that 45g tank... lots of vertical room to mosey about.

Nice. I like the looks of the H. erectus. I really dig the spiky hair-do. From what little I have, read both would be a good choice.
