I just bought my new clown on Saturday and it doesn't appear to be eating. I know there is an adjustment period but I don't want to add any additional stress to it. I am feeding all my fish in general a Formula one frozen food. Every fish I've ever owned has eaten it. Should I be worried? Any suggestions?
clowns are omnivores so they do need a combination of meaty and veggie based foods . chick formula one is a good choice but try to ad a bit of variety to your tanks menue. I also feed my fish thera+A pellets by spectrum a very balenced formula for all fish high in essential vit and min that most fish foods dont have.I also saok all frozen foods in garlic extreme and selcon to entice fish feeding the selcon is also highly enriched with marine limpets which all fish can benefit from .I hoe this helps good luck. one more thing if fish arent eading the garlic and the selcon can be added dierectly to the tank and nutrients will be absorbed through the gills for dierect absorbtion to the blood stream.other good foods for clowns are veggie flakes by omega one, emerald entrese(frozen ).these are all foods i use for my omnivores and some for my herbivores
