Does it really make a difference where a fish comes from other than price of the guy...example df&s has a copperbanded buttterfly from austrila for 80 but one from singapore for 40 they have differrent prices just wondered.

I've heard different theories from potentially different colorations (slighty different) to the way that the fish are caught. I'm looking at getting a Majestic Angel in the near future and read to avoid all that are caught in a certain area due to the collection methods. I can't remember offhand where that is, it's saved on my other computer. So, just my thought.

Fish in certain areas are captured by releasing cyanide into the water at low doses, this stun the fish and makes them easier to catch but also lessens their life span and overall health.

You really don't. This is where you buy from a supplier you can trust.
