Default Woo Hoo I did it!!!

I told my boss at the LFS 2 weeks ago about ORA. She had never heard of them. I took her to their website and harped on her about buying wild caught seahorses. Guess what??? She actually listened to me!!! She has her first order of seahorses comming in today from ORA. She ordered the Reidi to start with. I can't believe she actually set up an account with them after months of me yelling at her for being irresponsible and unethical by selling WC seaorses as CB. I work tomorrow, so I will let everyone know what they look like. I will take the digi camera to work.

    I ~ M U S T ~ N O T ~ B U Y ~ A N Y !!!!! LOL. I do not have anymore room for a different species of seahorse. I can't afford anymore. I don't even have a tank for them.

ya know I have no, none, zero, zip, zilch, nada, willpower don't ya? Why why why must she tempt me when she knows I'm weak!!!! I'm beyond weak when it comes to seahorses. Ohhhh, I'm nothin' but a jellyfish.......
Maybe I better call in dead tomorrow. Better yet, maybe I better quit and never go into the store again.

    Yes, please do...

I'm glad your boss has taken your advice! You have helped her take a great step towards operating a more responsible business, and it will surely pay off for her (and all the critters) in the long run!

I was so busy at work today I didn't get any pics of the new ORA reidi's. I will get them Sunday. They are beautiful. Nice yellow, with black spots. All 4 are females. (no unexpected babies this time)
I'm suprised (in a good way) that she only ordered 4 of the Reidi's. It's only a 30g Hex and she usually sticks 12 in there at a time. Good for her. Better for the seahorses.
I mixed up a batch of RO/DI water w/ oceanic salt today to do a water change in the morning on the seahorse tank. We also got in the biggest, fattest pipefish I've ever seen. I will take a pic of that as well since we need an ID on it. I know nothing about pipe fish. It came in listed as "Pipe fish". Now that helps me alot, lol.

I hope we are slow tomorrow so I can get a few water changes done. Today was NUTS!! I referred a few people to this site that are fairly new to saltwater. I hope they join us.

Mayhaps we should print off a stack of CR business cards to stick in your pocket (not that they truly exist at the moment, but easy enough to fix)...

Is it really possible of all the poeple living this far out that more than a couple have SW running through thier viens?

Working at the LFS, I KNOW there are a lot more people into SW around here then we thought. Even if they weren't into it before......I know I talked a few people into finally trying it.

We've toyed with the idea before and ALMOST ordred a bunch of color printed ones from some online company that had a good deal running. Let me check and see what I can come up with... Angel's doing her painting thing so I might be able to borrow some of her creative her brain too, since she's the sole possessor of creativity around here.
