The pics didn't come out in order, sorry. I will post more when I can. It's almost 1:30am and I have to work tomorrow. I'm waiting for the sand storm to clear so i can put all of the rock, fish and corals back in there. I also have to scrape all of the black paint off of the back of the tank so it can be viewed from both rooms. Dan will cover the overflows so from the dining room the tank will look kind of like a picture frame.

I had to take everything out of the tank and put it all into rubbermaid tubs, them move the tank and now I have to put it all back in. (Me and my husband moved the tank with just the two of us! Dang that's heavy!!!!!) Geez, what a PITA. I had to move the tank since my hubby's Christmas gift was a pool table and I didn't want the tank in the same room as the pool table. That just had disaster written all over it.

I bought him the pool table for Christmas, and I got my tank built into the wall for Christmas. Sounds like a good deal to me, lol. We did make the opening in the wall big enough for a 180 so I can upgrade when the finances are better.

    G'night,
    Angie

Wow Angie! Now you're talking! I think the both of you made out pretty darn good on that whole deal. The pool table is an awesome gift for your hubby, and the tank built into the wall is just a beautiful idea. I'd like to do something like that with ours in our sunken living room and have book shelves above the tank and maybe the sides. Then have one of those sliding ladders going across to get to the top of the shelves and also into the tank. Kind of a dream of mine. It would be a big expensive project though, but not one that is totally off limits. Looking awesome Angie! Give your hubby a pat on the back for me!

Angel pointed out something interesting to me, are the lights able to slide up and down on the conduit at each corner? If so, somebody sure was thinking there.... Can't wait to see it finished now.
