    well me and rusty got the t-5s to fire right today after a rewire stupid internet diagrams cut the glass for my sump baffles will be siliconeing that tomorrow i used 8mm glass its a bit much but i had some scraps in the fish room will post pics later

    well i got the sump baffles siliconed in place stand made for the skimmer and plumbed will be water testing the plumbing this weekend hung the canopy

    Looking good. Was it hard to find glass and was it expensive?

    not to bad i used to work at a glass plant i cut it my self on break so the cost wasnt bad as it was out of scraps when plant make thick glass the size usally is 96x130 so if there a defect in it at 56" the whole piece goes to the crusher nothing wrong with the rest just that defect was larger than customers specs so my glass is defect free getting from a local glass shop would have cost a ton around here but you live in annarbor which is a larger market probly have bigger shops it might be cheaper

    some updated pics some updated pics im water testing the plumbing no leaks but the drain design isnt keeping up with the mag 12 and i let my cousin borrow the 9.5 i turned the T it keeps up now but is loud so i need to work on that a bit



    note this is not the aqua scape just sat it in there to get it off the floor

    I am soo jealous, that is one sick looking set up. Can't wait to see more!

    Do plan on keeping the canopy elevated like that? Looks awesome, love the open top look with hovering lights.

    Do you also plan to scape some rock up and out of the surface like that? Very unique, I like it a lot.

    yes thats the way made it to be like a big pendent easy to get the fish in/out as for aquascape i dont know yet i built clearnet screens that fit into the glass trim to prevent fish sucicde

    well i just spent 6hrs cleaning the sand from my old 300gal and 2 buckets i got from townes tank is cloudy will try and get pics up tommorrow jim
