Default Blackhawk Fan's Perfecto 30x30x24 reef

    Perfecto 93G 30x30x24 tank
    Coralvue 400w dimmable ballast
    Two modded Tunze 6045's
    3/4" Seaswirl
    Octo XP2000
    Panworld 200ps return from basement
    100g Rubbermaid sump
DSB in a bucket with chaeto in it

Tank is plumbed into a 65g tank with my old clown grouper.

I drilled the tank for the return and siliconed the overflow box on.
I chippped the hole a little bit, but not bad for my first time.
Pics were taken with my phone and aren't the best....

    PIC 0049 - Blackhawk Fan's Perfecto 30x30x24 reef

    Painted the back black.
    PIC 0063 - Blackhawk Fan's Perfecto 30x30x24 reef

I bleached all my live rock and am now in the process of drying it out. I will be plumbing this into the 65 so there won't be a cycle. I will be monitoring it closely though once it's running.

    PIC 0065 - Blackhawk Fan's Perfecto 30x30x24 reef

Spent two days making a stand and painting it black. Here it as after I finished painting it.... Camera phone pic, so it's a little blurry.
    PIC 0068 - Blackhawk Fan's Perfecto 30x30x24 reef

Got the tank on the stand and scaped it. The stand is 30x30x39. The tank is almost eye level. I love the stand this tall.

I usually go bare bottom but decided to try a bag of aragalive bimini pink sand.

    more to come...

Mike wheres the picture of the evil laughing favia? I love that one!

I was hoping you could better explain the difference between the Mia's Pot of Gold and the Baby Breathe. Also the diff of the Pandora and the Vivid Dragon?

    Thanks MizTanks!

Andy I'm a huge Wings fan, when they lose.

    Rob,
In my tank the pandora's has pink centers with with a aqua rim around the head. The dragon's breath has peach and pink centers with green around the head. The mia's has yellow, green, orange, and pink centers with greenish/blue rim around the head. The baby's breath is supposed to have pink and orange centers and the rim is similiar to the mia's.

I'm starting to think I have two pot of gold's and no baby's breath. lol
