Just an update. Went and picked my stand up from a friend that is a wizard with wood. The thing is SICK!!! He did an awsome job. All Solid Oak, this thing is like furniture grade! Time to stain and finish it. I made sure to leave myself enough room incase I want to put a 5 gal bucket underneath for a top-off. Check this thing out. Its a slow go but things are coming around.

Nice....I should have made my stand wider than the tank...just no room on that shelf under mine.

I made sure to leave room on both sides of the tank. You know how we tend to do too many things at once in this hobby and have ****e laying all over!! LOL

That is truly one KILLER stand. Great idea making it a touch bigger, now you have somewhere to put a cup of mysis as you turkey blast corals in the tank. Plus if you ever get the itch to upgrade to a rimless cube or something you can easily do so!

That stand is awfully close to that wood burning stove. Hope he didn't put too much lacquer on that bad boy

P.S. Hentry, which Edison LED did you use? And from where did you get them?
