Very impressive scape I really like it a ton.

As for the angels, I agree I had and Ebili for years with every type of coral but open brains. Like you said.
    Looking forward to the updates.

Thanks everyone, take pride in spending a lot of time on the aquascape.

well.. phosphates are being an issue, I am guessing from the old rock? leaching out, the rest of water parameters are good, trying to get a balance of alk and cal and mag, so i can figure out dosing and such,

I picked up three green chromis today, and some phosphate remover, so we shall see if i can rid some hair algae.

Lookin forward to seeing this one happen! I gotta agree with everyone else- love the aquascaping. You use any glue of any sort on the rock to help keep it together?

It's good your addressing the algae issues right away, although I wouldn't be overly concerned as it just looks like classic new tank HA.

I'm curious, with such a unique aquascape what do you plan to keep for corals? I see tons of low light areas to tuck favias, and chalices!

Thanks guys, pretty sure phosphates are from all the old rocks, foam is no problem used many times before.. anyway
    Well not much to update,

I am down to One Chromis,

Hair algae is still killer, I got some High Capacity GFO and a reactor from Bulk Reef supply, running 2 cups of it now, I added another modded MJ1200, so thats three in the tank, I think I am going to get one or two more hidden in them and run them at different times with the AC3, I am still working on programing it, and web stuff but its working, DC8 is full, so might have to get another.

I have not done much dosing since I dont have any corals yet, I wanna get that all in order but I feel I might be getting a CO2 reactor sooner than I wanted. and I have to find room for it.

I have not gotten the denitrator running yet so that will be something else to do.

Basically the hair algae is whats getting me now, when I can rid it will be good. I need a clean up crew as well.

    so thats it for now.

Get a sea hare. He will mow it down and then with your PO remover you should be all set. Quickest way to get a good point.

well, i got 100 astrea snaile, 50 cerith, and 50 nassarius, 8 pepermint shrimp,

Also picked up 8 ricordia, 4 green 4 orange. Also a Royal Gramma, all from Reef Paradise in flint.

I am working on the hair algae scrubbing the rock and such,

    Also I have

3 MJ 1200 High flow mods ( 2500 GPH) and 2 low flow 1200's (1600 GPH) they are not ALL running at once, but three or so at a time, on the AQ3 so flow is a lot and it varies, so hope things stay going well and such..

looking for a sea hair.. just kinda worried about the powerheads
