    Thanks Marvin

Good news...tested the water today, ammonia was zero and nitrates were 40-50...so it appears the cycle may be done. I have been using Brightwells MB7 daily which I think has helped speed up the process.

Not so good though, I have a diatom bloom going right now. I think I will do the first water change tonight and see how it looks in a couple days.

Diatoms are good usually means cycle is done! ( in a new tank)

Yeah...I'm back in the same place my old AGA 29 gallon tank was setup...I've gone full circle. My wife doesn't like all the cords and clutter (I don't really either) so I set it up in the storage room for now. I'm expecting this to be somewhat temporary.

A couple updated shots showing how the aquascaping is coming along...I think I am liking it. I think it looks like it has a lot of front to back depth to it.

The water is pretty cloudy from moving stuff around in these pics. I also need to get some carbon running soon as the water has a little color to it as well.
