Preuss Pets has a tank with at least a half dozen pearly jaws hanging out in the sand bed right next to each other. They have been in there for a long time and seem to get along. It's funny to see them all sticking their heads out of their holes like prairie dogs.

Hey Jim, how do you like the Aquasurf and Tunze 6055 setup? I need to reconfigure my flow in my tank. I have a Tunze 6060 and a maxijet 1200 modified. The 6060 is nice, besides the size of it and the fact that it is difficult to angle it. The maxijet is and old mod kit and it is very noisy, thus it has to go. Plus, with both pumps going I think its too much flow at once.

So, I may try the Tunze nanos and Aquasurf. Do you know if any other pumps work with the Aquasurf? Or, can you control the tunze's or other pumps with just the AC jr?

I like the 6055's and aquasurf. But I got a little bored and traded a couple of the 6055's out for a vortech mp-20. Not sure I like it any better though.

Did you get good wave action on the aquasurf? Not so much waveon the top but movement with the coral.

Did you get good coral movement with the aquasurf? Were you using any other powerheads at the same time?

I'm not sure if I want to spring for one of those, a Tunze nano, or just get a couple 6025's.

Yes, the aquasurf and tunzes had a better wave effect than the mp20. You have to shut the pumps all the way to zero, at least in my small tank to get a good wave.

Here is a video of the tunzes:

Have always been a big fan of your tank! That wave looks like it came right out of the wild reef- no joke. It was perfect.
