Someone had them on sale locally for under $60. Cool fish for that price. I spent $100 + on several fish now.

I saw that Choice had the bluespots on sale for $55. I would be tempted if I had a suitable substrate in my current tank...and any money to spend. Every dime I have had lately has gone into the website.

Does anyone know if blue spots will peacefully coexist with pearly jawfish? Ultimately I want 3-5 of them if I go the jawfish route. And, I don't want to spend that much on a heard of bluespots...but if they lived together at all I might be tempted at some point to get one.

With that said, I have also imposed a $30 fish limit on myself since my kalk disaster last year. I lost my mystery wrasse and it was a reality check for spending over $100 on a fish.

I have never seen it outside of a LFS, but I don't think it would be an issue to mix up the Blue Spot and Pearly as long the tank is big enough to support multple dens. I like the idea. They don't venture to far from there den once they have one establish outside of Din Din time.

$55 is a steal if they are in good shape. Is the that a local joint you are refering to or a site?

The place is called Choice Aquariums in Farmington Hills, MI. I think they may ship, but not positive. Here is a link to their site: http://www.choiceaquariums.com/

I would have to give him a jawfish jackhammer to make his burrow in the former fuge...it is like cement down there.
