Thanks man! It made everything pop in my living room. I debated on that but I don't know about par and what not. Can you school me a bit on it and what I should be looking for? Thanks

If I read it right you got 2 Blue + (beautiful color, tons of par compared to other comparable bulbs), 2 Aquablue Specials (These are day lights about 12k) a purple bulb for pop and an additional Actinic for more blue and pop. I think you should be all set. Curious to see what the ATI purple does.

With actinics you get a nice "glow" to your corals but they dont have half the PAR of the blue+ IMO a waste of space. You are going to over power those actinics with the other lights you wont even see the benefit of the glow. The blue+ have plenty of the blue spectrum corals need to grow big and strong. I could understand if you were going to run the actinic as a dusk dawn effect but you have the icecap LEDs to do that (way better). IMO the added PAR of a blue+ will be more beneficial to you and your corals then the actinic bulb.

Thanks for the info. This will be a learning experience and since I have them already, I can only hope they will work well. We also plan on simulating dusk/dawn.

So we finally got the tank in and it looks good. I'm a little nervous since they messed up twice but tomorrow I'll know if it's all good while I transfer everything over. Here are some pics.

    So-

Are the light going to be mounted with legs, or suspender over top with wires (or other device)?

We are going to suspend it over top of it but will mount it until we get to do that.
