Thats gonna look sweet.
LMAO, nice shots Chris!
This is some of my finest work to date I think. I went in with a plan to use acrylic rods and zip ties and other items in hopes to try some cantilevered ledges, over hang and pillars.
But once I arrived, the mojo just started flowing and I went on co-pilot. I hope you like it Chris. I think it is really going to be amazing. Once we get some sand and water in there the features will really start to pop. I feel good that we went the 'natural' route and didn't use anything artificial to scape the reef. (Other than two small balls of reef epoxy)
I feel like we did a great job at accomplishing our goals of a unique natural looking reef. With tons of passageways and nooks and crannies for fish and corals to grow and thrive. I think we did a killer job at addressing your concerns for flow restrictions at the sand bed and the back of the reef.
Don't hesitate to give me a call when it is time to install the sump, plumb it and fill that beast. We'll have to get some shots that really showcase some of the features. Im sure there will be a little fine tuning and tweaking required.
Thanks again for inviting me out, I very much enjoyed the creative release. I hope you like it and look forward to helping you and other reefers in the CR community out in the future.
