Thanks, it's doing good. It hasn't grown much but is putting down a base finally. I've moved it up for the last time so it should take off soon.....I hope.

LOL.....I don't think so, their are a few stragglers around that seem to be slowly disappearing but I was kind of blaming the filefish. He's kind of ninja about it unless it's a nassarius snail, he eats those like popcorn. Could be the rabbit tho.

Great looking fish! Hope it works out for you. I don't see fish like that around here. How long have you had it? How deep is your sandbed?

Thanks....my fingers are crossed. I've only had her about a week and my sand bed varies from 1" to 3".

I had heard that they might need a slightly deeper bed. Seems like four inches. As they bury themselves in the sand.

No idea where they get that figure though. I do hope it works out for you. Such a good looking fish.

Everything i've read suggests that 3" is enough. As important as the depth is the grain size of which I have "sugar fine" sand through most of the tank. She is picking at the rocks and taking cyclopeeze and mysis shrimp so I am cautiously optimistic about her survival long term.

I am still trying to find a couple more leopards, tho I will not order from LA for them again. When my search is over and they have all acclimated to my tank I will treat with Prazipro, as internal parasites seem to be a real problem for them as well.
