Their is movement afoot. I have added 2 MP40's and am working on a LED upgrade. I will be putting together one fixture that will cover half of the tank. The other half will remain MH for comparison. I will try to get PAR readings as well as FTS pictures. Here's an idea of the LED layout......

I added 3 warm whites which are supposed to supplement that end of the spectrum. If I'm not happy with the color I will add a couple reds and greens. I am hoping between the violet/uv and warm whites (no optics on either of these) I will get enough pop.
The build is moving slowly, between my old eyes and numb thumb my fine motor skills have really taken a beating.

No pics....but I did order another LED kit. Tank is a bit of a mess. Shocked some of the sticks between the LED's (Jim warned me) and new Radium bulb (some to death). I used screen on everything but apparently 35% is to much, but the old bulbs were real old. I've started dosing vinegar to help with the HA so I hope to have it turning my way here soon.
The good news is the frag tank is finally empty, save Mandy (dragonette), so I might turn him in and run it without light
and just fill it with rock. I'm thinking about putting him back in the display but with plans for more wrasses and the CBB i'm afraid the competition for food would have him starving in time.

Yeah, that would be a tough one. I've had him a long time. Not like Yeller (yellow tang) when I got rid of him, he turned into a bully so he was easy to get rid of. Mandy hasn't done anything....

Part of it is the intensity they came from, the old bulbs were a little over a year old so they weren't doing much, I wouldn't think. Even the new Radium side has suffered with a couple losses.

Update......I've lost a few corals, turns out, after some thought, that the problems I was having with the light set-up and ramping had me running them at full power for some of the time which explains some of the losses. Everything is back on track and I am increasing intensity 5% a week, the corals have lost color but most seem to be adjusting now. I am taking a break on the corals until I get things sorted out so I am focusing on my fish list for a while. With that said I think I can scratch leopard wrasse off the list, it is a little early to say yet but they are out and eating.......
