    This IS an awesome thread!

My sun corals are spoiled! They get turkey baster-ed several times a week. I mix it up with what I feed them. They get mysis couple times a week generally. I also mix up a little saltwater, coral frenzy and liquid zooplankton.

The sun corals are in flowerpot that points away from the light and is faced into the flow. It's protected from direct flow, but I get a nice swirly effect. I squirt their food in the flowerpot. As the flow hits it, it swirls it into the pot, so I know they are getting food to them. The other thing the flowerpot does for me is make it easy to keep an eye on the shrimp, especially when I feed mysis.

Thanks to your expertise and others, my suns look awesome!

Thanks for the kind words guys... if you want anything added or "more scientific" LMK. I felt that a "Laymans Terms" care guide for these wonderful corals are lacking everywhere, and if cared for correctly, there a pretty easy coral to care for that's very rewarding and incredibly beautiful.

Due to my work travel I've been sticking with the large polyp non-photos, but I should have more time spent home early next year and I've been doing some experiments with NPS "soft coral" such as Dendronepthya and Scleronepthya Species... they're my favorites next to the big polyp guys but are MUCH harder to care for. I'll have something written up eventually with tips on those guys Basically they require a constant source of small particle foods, and a system that can cope with that.

Oh heck yea! All corals go crazy for fish poo

My system only has one fish in it, and his little excrament doesn't suffice for all the hungry mouths in there... I actually never directly feed the fish, only the coral, and let the fish grab the extras. Teamwork at it's finest and no food goes to waste

What kind of large green polyp? Do you know the genus or species of the coral? Do you know the common name of the coral?

Here is a question that I posted a few weeks back, you'll probably have the answer.
Can Duncans and Dendros coexist directly next to each other touching or almost touching?
They are not very aggressive but may go into battle with each other. I want to keep them as happy and healthy as possible.
