Thanks for the kind words guys... if you want anything added or "more scientific" LMK. I felt that a "Laymans Terms" care guide for these wonderful corals are lacking everywhere, and if cared for correctly, there a pretty easy coral to care for that's very rewarding and incredibly beautiful.
do it, Do it, DO IT! :p
Due to my work travel I've been sticking with the large polyp non-photos, but I should have more time spent home early next year and I've been doing some experiments with NPS "soft coral" such as Dendronepthya and Scleronepthya Species... they're my favorites next to the big polyp guys but are MUCH harder to care for. I'll have something written up eventually with tips on those guysBasically they require a constant source of small particle foods, and a system that can cope with that.
Oh heck yea! All corals go crazy for fish poo
My system only has one fish in it, and his little excrament doesn't suffice for all the hungry mouths in there... I actually never directly feed the fish, only the coral, and let the fish grab the extras. Teamwork at it's finest and no food goes to waste
Awesome, glad to hear it!![]()
