Carpet's seem to have a bad reputation for killing/eating any other fish that wander too close. The condy's are cheap and nice to look at, but they don't have a natural symbiotic relationship with any clownfish, really horrible for wandering around, and pack a pretty good wallop as well against coral and such. Sabae's are really pretty, but can grow to be very large, our true perc will not go near it though, Clarkis's love'm though.

Don't be too surprised if your perc's decide they'd rather live in a coral instead of an anenome.

The BTA won't travel much and sting other corals or fish will it? That is probably my main concern. I like them and think they could be a very good addition to my tank when its up and running, but I don't want to take a chance of losing other corals or fish just to have one. I listed my fish selections earlier, and as for corals... going to just start with some zoas, then probably an acropora.

once the BTA gets a spot that he likes he will most likely stay put. a lot of people get worried when they first get an anenome and they are moving all around. they are just house hunting. when they find a spot they like they will anchor and hopefully live a long a happy life. And as far as your hermit dilema, hermits are opportunistic feeders. they may get a snail every now and then but if there is stuff for them to scanvenge then that is what they will do. quite a few people go with snails only but hermits are good for getting the more meaty stuff like left over food. you can go with maybe one hermit per gallon and you should be allright.

OK. Well, it's a 75g tank, so you would recommend i use 75 hermits? (probably blue leg) and what about snails? (I'm probably going to go with a mixture of astrea and nasarius, not sure if I want the turbos knocking things over, then again, don't know if i would want to have to flip the astreas over when they fall on their shell....) Either way, about 75 snails as well?

75 gallon, I think you would be allright with about 50 hermits and I wold get a mix of astrea and nas snails. you can allways add more if you dont get enogh the first time. A lot of places sell 'cleaner packages' with a mix of snails and crabs.
