    Default hey snail help

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#FONT size=2#ed_cl##ed_op#P#ed_cl#I was just wondering if it would be OK to take half of my gravel out and put some sand in its place. And I have another question is it beneficial to put fiddler crabs in my tank b/c they are all over the beach and i thought they might help eat some of the algae. #ed_op#/P#ed_cl##ed_op#/FONT#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

I would not put fiddler crabs in the tank. if you get them off the beach god knows what they are carrying on them you may infect your whole tank with sommething that you do not want. They are notorious for climbing out of the tank also. I had a buddy in Seattle that did that and he ended up stepping on like three of them in a week.

And as for switching out half of your gravel for sand yeah that would be allright.

welll I would pull all of the critters out and take out half of the gravel and put sand in. let it settle for a bit and then put your critters back in. I would also do a 20 to 25 percent water change too at this timem.
