Yeah... and I am just AMAZED at the incredible variety of species. Some of them look like my old Zeppelin, Hendrix, and Deep Purple posters that adorned my walls in High School

I really like the some of the yellow on black patterns, they really stand out. Although the 'purple haze' & tiedyed critters are really neat.
Time to do some more reading and see how close I can nail this guy down to, though on of the articles I read stated that coloring and patterns are not a definative method for identification... seems some species are ever changing with thier environmental conditions and adapting new colors/patterns to keep fish and others from thinking they are supper, not to mention the toxins they sport.

these ARE some amazing animals !! to bad they are not good for us !! could you guys imagine a tank full of them ?? that would be sweeeeet !!
If I read and understood it, if cut in half the halves will regenerate into two animals.... Not that I'd want two of these guys until I get more info on him. Seems some of them may not be bad to have.

Hey David...regarding the type of rock I found him in, I don't know other than it used to be my green star rock. It had tons of crevices on it and also hole to hide in. I guess I should mention all the sponges that he had to munch on.
Thanks Renee for the ID on him. I really thought he was a nudi of some king cause of his shape and ruffled body. I couldn't find anything that even nearly resembled and eye or a mouth, no tenticles either. Weird little wormy thing. Something new to read up on! .....Angel :angel1:
