Yes they can and will wipe out coral. Also be cautioned adding multiple anemones to a tank is generally a bad idea unless they are separated by at least 3-4 feet and do not roam even that could be too close... otherwise you may get to see a real chemical war up close and personal, they may attack one another from opposite sides of the tank shooting nematocysts at the other and anything that happens to be in the path won't stand a chance.

This could'nt be more true. I have had a GBTA in my tank, Took it out and put it in the wifes tank and bought my carpet. Sold my carpet and got a RBTA from a good friend that owns a LFS and bought a Sebae. The RBTA was not doing well when he gave it to me (Which is why he did) so when it and the Sebae tangled (Not literally) the RBTA lost and died.

Then when the clowns didn't really like the Sebae (Went in and out but didn't make a home in it) I took it to my friend and traded it for the LTA I have now. My clowns simply love the LTA and it is incredibly beautiful.

My point is that while you see my posts about all these anemones, They are NOT in the tank at the same time. It's ok to have 2 BTA's or 2 LTA's but do not mix species and give tem plenty of distance from each other.
