My H. Crispa
How can I tell if my h. crispa is going to split? When I got her, I was amazed at how thick she was. Instead of the typical mouth, she has a jagged split that goes all the way across the top where her mouth should be. Definitely elongated. It's usually open, and what I mean when I say that is... she sometimes covers her whole mouth/split area with a thin membrane. I'm not saying she holds her mouth open. Make sense?This jagged split has not changed at all since I got her. She remains healthy and doing well. I would appreciate some good info on splitting anemones. I had no idea they did this. Is this the only way they reproduce? Thanks!
