Peppermint vs Peppermint?

Lysmata wurdemanni is the correct species, some of the other species are not so nice to coral . FWIW, I have spotted several different species of these guys being sold as "peppermint shrimp" at LFS in our area Rob.

Thanks for weighing in Stun. That is exactly why I was hoping to get clarification on this topic. Seems as though anything with even a remotely similar stripping pattern gets slapped with the Peppermint name.

That explains why the "peppermint shrimp" I got will not eat aptaisia in my tank after starving the tank for a couple days. They never last more than a couple months for me in my tank.
