    Default Feather dusters

Do they need special light??? I have a piece of rock in a 10 gal nano. I just set it up like a week ago but the rock has little things that look like feather dusters growing out of it. Any ideas??????

These are Fan Worms. They are very similar to Feather Dusters but much smaller. They do not grow to be Feather Dusters.

They do not need any light at all and no special feedings. They are a filter feeder and will filter food from the water. Great to have and 100% Reef Safe!

Enjoy them. You may find many more.

Ditto... I have them everywhere! The biggest one is about a cm in diameter. There is one more that is about half that size, but the rest are about 2-3mm. They're so cute popping out all over the rocks like they do!

    You are very welcome!

We were all a noob at some point. What we learned should be passed on to others. Nobody charged us for advice so we charge no one.
