Picked up a Yellow Watchman Goby today and a Pistol Shrimp. The owner of the LFS I got them from said the Pistol came in as a Tiger Pistol Shrimp but we both knew it did not look like a Tiger. I grabbed both for a super deal.....I mean almost at cost. After getting them into the tank I did a little research and found it is in fact a Japanese Pistol Shrimp and sells for $34.99 at liveaquaria. That's more than double what I paid for the pair! :-D http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...fm?pCatId=2129

Great snag! I've got several candy cane pistol shrimp scattered throughout tanks in my house. The one in the bedroom is the most annoying to my wife. She can't stand the snapping. lol

The little sucker went right under a rock and has yet to come out. Maybe in a few days he will meet the watchman and share a burrow where I can get some. :D

They're hard to get pictures of. My pistols spook really easily and I have to take some pictures from a distance and hope that I can crop them so they look decent.

right on keri that is way cool. I have a tiger pistol and he is not the best for hosting with gobies. I think I may trade him for a diff species of pistol here in the next little while. but yeah if you can get some pics that would be awesome but your right they are really reclusive critters.
