    Default ID Kelp like Algae

    Hello all, I am wondering what kind of algae/plant this is. Would a scopa tang eat it????

    I believe you have Sargassum algae.

    I have some too both in main tank and ref... have had no problems at all with it, just keep it from shading my light loving corals
    240 gal reef ready w/50 gal sump/fuge,130 lbs of live rock,96 pc 10k,96 pc actinic 03, 190 no actinic 65k/03, 3 175 mh 10k (2) 14k

    Default kelp

    It is interesting stuff the fish like to swim in and shelter there. It just grew out of some live rock i got at lfs. I like the look seems natural.
