    Here is a pic of a clam which is my baby =) I got this in store almost dead and was only 1 inch in length. I took home since looked so bad and now look at her in her 4 inch glory

    Looks great, actually it is beautiful...what is the rule of thumb for clams as far as watts per gallon? I know that depth and spectrum play a part but I have 390 wattw on a 90 gallon and I am not sure if I can trust the LFS on this.

    TNT - not to get too far off topic but it's less of a watts per gallon than it is the type/amount of lighting and depth it has to travel to reach your animals. Graphixx22 wrote up a great article describing the care of clams in a captive reef...

    Stunning color and pattern!!! I wish I could have a clam. Not enough light yet.
