It would have to be a nem that I could put on the rock as my sand bed is totally full up.

Bob, I have been mulling the idea of getting a pom pom crab - since my sallies went back to the store. What can you tell me about their disposition? Blenny safe? Reef safe? Clam safe?

Hadn't even thought about the nems... Do they end up stinging stuff?

I have found them to be reef, blenny and clam safe. They are really small in size. The anenomes are harmless to the reef and are used to help catch food for the crab. After some time goes by (8-12 months), they sometimes lose their pom pom anenomes.

Most prefer the rocks only bad thing is most tend to wander if they don't like their spot that's when they find their way into power heads. I got lucky when mine did it only lost a couple tentacles.I am getting a nano this weekend so it and nemo and Marlin can be happy in their own home and the dang thing will quit wandering and stinging other critters. Too hard to keep it and all the corals happy so it's "getting sent to it's room for not playing nice with others. Also I hope this will give my clowns that host it a better chance of laying and possibly breeding.

Nems are easy to take care of.

If you can take care of fish and coral, then you can take care of anemones.

Wow MM I was just wondering today about where the **** you been. Glad to see you!
Not so worried about caring for a nem as the possible issues that come along with them. You know, The Risk Factor! Lol
