    Default Actinics only!

How about some crazy actinic pictures? Tonight as the lights were about to shut off, I thought I'd take a few pictures. Since it is actinics only, I set my camera's white balance as if I was running 20,000K bulbs. The colors are crazy looking, but still kind of neat. You may want to put on some sunglasses.

Okay, totally crazy colored, and not quite as bright in real life. Or maybe I should say the corals are bright, but crisp. The camera can't quite nail that unless I used slower exposure and a tripod, but my fish were pretty active since I'd just fed 20 minutes earlier and would have caused some blurs.

I wish our tanks looked like that all of the time. I have more actinic only pics then regular pics, lol. I have a few boaring zoanthids.....untill It's actinics only. Then they are beautiful.

(whispers) What Greg failed to mention is that he's been looking for Oompa Loompas for the better part of the last decade...
